To have the best experience in your online lessons, there is some basic equipment you will need. If you would like to further enhance your experience, there is also equipment we recommend but isn't necessary for all students. If you have any questions about our recommended equipment, feel free to ask your Trala teacher.
Basic Requirements
Stable internet connection
Wi-fi or wired connection is preferred, mobile hotspot or cellular data connection will not work.
Computer, tablet, or mobile device with microphone, speaker and camera
Trala strongly recommends a computer
Violin (although you do not need this for your very first lesson)
Violin accessories (rosin, shoulder rest).
Tuner or Trala app

Windows 10 or 11, or MacOS 12 or later.
Zoom downloaded to device, logged in with free account (instructions here).
Headphones and external microphone.
