Why are lessons recorded? Can I request they not be recorded?
Trala teachers record lessons for your reference so that you can revisit previous lessons, and also see your progress over time. Your teacher will always ask permission before recording a lesson, and you absolutely have the right to decline.
Lesson recordings are only made available to you (through your online Trala account). We will not share recordings in any way without your express written permission.
What are the advantages of recording lessons?
Teachers may use recordings to summarize your lessons for you, and suggest practice work.
Recordings allow you to replay, download, and share your lessons with others by logging into your Trala account online.
Recordings show you the progress you've made, and let you re-visit topics at your own pace.
Trala can access a recording internally for quality and training purposes of its teachers.
How can I access recordings of my lessons?
Log into your Trala account online at https://student.trala.com/lessons.
Scroll down on the Lessons page, select "Past lessons".
Click on the blue "Watch video" button to see your video! You can also click on the green "Share" arrow as well to share your lesson if you would like to send to a friend or family member. There are buttons in the video viewer as well to Share and Download your lesson video.

Why isn't there a recording for my lesson?
Recordings are only available if your teacher recorded your lesson when it was happening.
Be sure to ask your teacher to record the lesson when you join the zoom. You can always also ask them to stop recording.
There are rare events where a recording may take 24 hours to render, or fail to render. If you are not finding a link to a recorded lesson, contact support@trala.com
