Legacy subscription policies (for students subscribed prior to July 2024)

Trala is continually working to improve our systems to provide the best student experience possible! We made some big changes to our subscriptions in July 2024 that affected some legacy students (subscribed prior to July 2024), but not all legacy students.

Students on legacy subscriptions will have a few different policies, due to having active subscription plans that we no longer offer.

We will honor the policies we had in place when you subscribed. Prices are still subject to change, but we are happy to continue your active legacy subscription as long as you'd like!

We value your tenure at Trala, and want to support your music education however works best for you.

Here are the main policies unique to legacy subscriptions:


Subscription billing dates

  • Legacy Monthly subscriptions bill once per month, on the same date each month

  • Legacy Bi-weekly and Weekly subscriptions bill every 28 days

Unscheduled Lessons

  • All unscheduled lessons will expire 12 months from the date purchased (or 365 days) on legacy accounts

  • Unscheduled lessons on legacy accounts can be scheduled even if your subscription is canceled. You can still schedule your remaining lessons at student.trala.com

If you want to update your subscription to a new Weekly or Bi-weekly subscription and switch to an easier system and once a month billing (getting up to one month free over the course of a year!), please reach out to support@trala.com and we're happy to help!
